CTIA Wireless is the largest wireless-centric event in North America, attracting over 35,000 attendees from the telecom industry. Last week the annual event celebrated its 24th year with over 1000 exhibitors and more than 300,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space.
Chalk joined RIM in Las Vegas for the event - to showcase Mobile chalkboard™ in the ‘Business on BlackBerry’ section of the BlackBerry booth. The two words on the tips of everyone’s tongues were ‘apps’ and ‘convergence’.
RIM President and Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis helped to kick off the show by participating in the opening keynote "What does "Mobile Life" mean to you?". He effectively stole the show when he announced the launch of BlackBerry App World™. To watch a video overview of App World, click here.
