Chalk Releases Version 5.1 of Mobile chalkboard™
WASHINGTON, DC – September 23, 2008
– Chalk Media Corp. (CKM) today announced that it has released version
5.1 of its patent-pending software Mobile chalkboard™, the only
enterprise-ready software for converting, pushing and tracking
media-rich content to mobile devices.
'This is an important part
of building our business', said Stewart Walchli, President & CEO,
Chalk. 'The features we have added have been requested by some of the
world's top Fortune 500 companies and should help accelerate some
deals.'
In addition to the product's standard Microsoft
PowerPoint Add-in for media-rich and interactive content authoring,
Mobile chalkboard™ now also has an optional add-in to Microsoft Word.
This feature was requested by telecommunications and financial services
clients looking to rapidly send out annotated reports in a tracked
wireless format.
Mobile chalkboard™ can also now plug into video
or audio podcast streams, pushing media-rich RSS feeds directly to
mobile devices with minimal set-up. This capability is extremely
important for Chalk to progress deals with some of the world's leading
news portals. It also gives Mobile chalkboard more appeal to
professional consumers, who can now get podcast content of personal
interest in addition to internal business content.
In line with
the new podcast reader, Chalk is pleased to announce exclusive deals to
distribute podcasts for popular content in the company's target market.
These include Manager Tools (rated #1 business podcast by Digg),
Connections (rated #3 business podcast by Digg), Mad Money Machine, and
BlackBerryCool (one of the top podcasts followed by BlackBerry®
administrators).
