Fortune 50 Healthcare Company Licenses Seats of Mobile chalkboard™
WASHINGTON, DC – October 14, 2008
– Chalk Media Corp. (TSXV: CKM) today announced that it has licensed
its mobile communication software, Mobile chalkboard™, and its
BlackBerry Productivity Library to a leading global healthcare company
that is a Dow 30 and a Fortune 50 company. The client has licensed
Mobile chalkboard™ to help reduce costs associated with training
employees, particularly in the area of compliance, and to help reduce
BlackBerry support costs.
“We could not be more pleased to
have signed an agreement with this industry leader,” said Stewart
Walchli, President & CEO of Chalk. “This deal is another great
validation of our software by one of the largest companies in the world
and one of the leaders in the healthcare industry. We anticipate
significant growth from this account as this client has a growing
BlackBerry base of nearly 20,000 devices.”
“This marquee
client win proves there is a great return on investment from our
software and BlackBerry Productivity Library in the healthcare and
pharmaceuticals industry,” Mr. Walchli explained. “We expect that
having a referenceable account of this stature in the healthcare and
pharmaceuticals industry will help us gain traction with other similar
companies. We have seen this same trend in the telecommunications and
