Are you a teacher looking for a change of pace?
Are you up to date on what’s happening in education?
Do you live and breathe pedagogy?
Do you want to help shape the future of education?
You’ve found the right job posting.
Did you know that the vast majority of school districts don’t know whether their curriculum is working?
Or that many school districts don’t have the expertise to improve their pedagogical practices?
Education technology is a massive industry with many big players. But it’s fragmented. There are tools aimed at administrators, and tools aimed at teachers. But nobody is bridging the gap in a meaningful way.
We’ve figured it out.
Chalk is pushing the boundaries of student success to support educators in bringing personalized education to every student. We believe that everyone has the right to quality education and we’re working with schools and districts to bring their teaching methodologies into the 21st century.
We have many innovative schools and school districts who get what we’re trying to achieve. But, we’ve struggled with getting our message out. We’re looking for a dedicated content manager to help develop our messaging and cultivate our brand.
What you will do at Chalk
As an Education Influencer at Chalk, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and creating content that helps schools and school districts think about and tackle improving their pedagogical practices. You will identify questions that educators have at each stage of their journey. You will then create content to help them answer those questions. You will initially develop written content like ebooks, online guides, and blog posts. Once we have a strong foundation of written content, you will explore other media such as podcasts, webinars, or video interviews.
As an Education Influencer, you will work with the rest of the marketing team to develop our brand. You will also work closely with our sales and customer success teams to identify opportunities for content based on the conversations they have.
We’re looking for great communicators. Can you make complex topics approachable?
We’re looking for people with backgrounds in education. Are you a teacher? An educational consultant?
We’re looking for thought leaders. Do you know where education is headed?
Ingrained in our culture at Chalk is the desire to be constantly improving, learning, and growing. As such, although your previous experience will definitely be considered, we’re looking for people who want – and are able – to grow into the role.
If you think that you’ve got what it takes, we want to hear from you!
