Education is a massive industry with many big players. But nobody has brought along a solution to meet the needs of teachers and administrators together. Many education technology companies find themselves on one end of the spectrum – either administration level tools or free teacher apps. They struggle to provide both in a meaningful way.

Chalk is pushing the boundaries of student success to support educators in bringing personalized education to every student. We believe that everyone has the right to quality education and we’re working with schools and districts to bring their teaching methodologies into the 21st century.
We’re rapidly growing our sales team to help schools and districts across North America. We’re looking for a dedicated inside sales account executive to spread our technology to new schools and districts.

What you will do at Chalk
You will be responsible for developing your territory by using, phone, email and social outreach to identify and connect with ideal prospects to determine the needs of their district. You will uncover their buying process and other decision makers, and you will communicate the value of implementing our solutions to meet the client’s goals, following and optimizing a well-defined process. You will ensure a successful implementation by communicating the needs of the school or district to the customer success team and maintaining a positive relationship with clients.
You will be primarily working with Education Advisors within the sales team, as well as working with our marketing team to create and edit sales collateral. You will also work closely with our customer success team to ensure that they have all the information necessary to ensure our solutions are successfully implemented.
We’re looking for great sales skills, but more than that, we’re looking for consultants. We’ll need you to quickly and correctly analyze the situation and problems in prospective schools and districts. Once you’ve identified a potential solution, you’ll need to clearly communicate this to the sponsor. Your performance will be evaluated based on the number of new clients that you bring on board.
